Powerwings (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates www.powerwin.gs, where we provide Amazon price comparison, history, alerts, and optional group watchlists. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and your rights.

Information We Collect

Price alert sign-ups

When you set up a price alert, we collect and store:

  • Your email address
  • The product you want to track (identified by its Amazon ASIN)
  • Your alert threshold — either a target price (e.g. “below $45”) or a percentage below the average (e.g. “10% off”)
  • Your marketplace (e.g. amazon.com, amazon.co.uk)
  • The status of your alert (pending confirmation, active, or fired)

We store this information and send notification emails from Powerwings as described in this policy.

Browser storage

If you submit an alert, your email address is saved in your browser’s localStorage so the form can pre-fill it on future visits. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted except when you explicitly submit a new alert. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message in order to respond to your enquiry.

Analytics

We use Google Tag Manager and may collect anonymised usage data (pages visited, browser type, approximate location) to understand how the site is used and improve it. We do not build individual profiles or use this data for advertising.

How We Use Your Information

  • To send you price drop notifications you have requested
  • To confirm your alert subscription via email
  • To respond to support or contact enquiries
  • To improve the website and service

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to any third party.

Data Sharing

We share data only with the following processors, strictly so we can run www.powerwin.gs:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosts application infrastructure
  • Supabase — optional account sign-in / session when you choose to create an account

We will disclose your information if required to do so by law or court order.

Data Retention

Alert data (email address and preferences) is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any alert email we send you, or by contacting us directly.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Withdraw consent at any time (this won’t affect the lawfulness of prior processing)
